b. 1981, Florida

Jen received her BFA from the University of Central Florida specializing in Photography and Sculpture. In her 20-plus-year career as a Photographer, Graphic Designer and Art Director, she has worked in the fields of Design, Product Development and Commercial Art.

In her personal artwork, Jen explores and experiments with film photography. "Film is an important part of my creative process because it necessitates delayed feedback requiring self-trust in the creation of my experience. I am able to abandon a sense of perfection by welcoming light leaks, and the unexpected beauty of expired and slower speed films." Jen has exhibited in group shows at the Norton Museum of Art (West Palm Beach), University of Central Florida's Art Gallery, Snap! Orlando, and several other Florida-based art initiatives.

“As I turn my focus to the natural world in the ongoing body of work, Biophilia, I find myself happily lost in those acts of seeing. I could easily lay in the grass for hours, eye pressed to the viewfinder, waiting for a bee to land or a breeze to visit.”
